Central Coast Marine Services

Connecting the Coast

About the Project

CCMS is integral to a thriving Central Coast community. An isolated region with no road link, BC’s Central Coast is dependent on marine transportation to bring supplies. They are uniquely positioned to service remote communities and businesses by providing reliable transportation of essential products to isolated areas.

Dream State Design was hired to design a logo, brand identity and new website for the company. The brand strategy and strategic marketing plan for CCMS was provided by Sandbox Marketing

Logo Story

Our new logo personifies our brand characteristics: Dynamic, proud, passionate, stable, connected and innovative.

The three solid colour blocks are a symbol of our service commitment to our communities, our team and our business partners. The graphic elements come together in a single place and time, representing our collective team’s knowledge and passion. We explode from this place, connecting with our coastal communities, represented by blue (ocean) and green (land).

Like a beacon, we emanate a guiding light of safety. The single green beam points towards future opportunities for our company and our coastal communities.

The Website

CCMS offers a diverse array of services. From essential goods delivery to construction to fuel spill clean ups. However, the website needed to be simple and straightforward. It had to be easy to understand and navigate for users. Site users who live in remote areas and may not always have access to the strongest wifi connection or may not spend a lot of time on computers.

web design squamish
I love working with Dream State Design. Joel is responsive and communicates honestly and openly. He is proactive in his advice and creative direction. The result was a cohesive visual brand that communicates my client's core values, an engaging logo that scales well (from a social media icon to the side of a freighter), and a website that clearly communicates their diverse offerings. Looking forward to working again with Joel.
